Following Your Heart
It’s mid-point of 2023!! Fireworks please. How has the last 6 months been for you? July is a powerful month with the numerology of 9-9-9 culminating in endings and new beginnings which leads to the Annual LionsGate Energies of July-Aug. Much has to change within us, which will manifest outside of us before the end of December 2024.
June has been a month of spontaneous treats for me. I followed my heart and dropped in to see Shirdi Sai Baba, in Shirdi last month in India. I was so lucky it was quiet time and I was able to do my thing quickly at the Sai Baba Samadhi Temple. Shirdi is a little village thankfully accessible via a flight. I absolutely loved the little farming village with only 50k locals. There was a familiarity with the farmland. Reminded me of the villages in Bali and the simplicity of local life.
On the other spectrum was the Temple area which was busier with tourists and outsiders looking to make a buck from tourists. This also reminded me of Bali, ie how outsiders like you and me look for “peace” in Bali. In the process we shift the balance of peace in that land itself. Every spot has its polarity of tranquility and the opposite. On that note, if you’re travelling somewhere new and you’re looking for a spiritual experience free from drama, ask the land to guide you. Take a moment to connect to the element of Earth under you and don’t forget to ask for protection too.
Later this month I took the opportunity to explore Langkawi after 10 years! Despite having travelled to over 50 countries to date, I can keep going back to the same beach and feel like it’s my first time. My Moon Sign ie the sign that signifies how I express my emotions is Cancer, a water element sign. I am emotionally most at peace with water. A natural water body restores me really quickly. Something about the jungles of a tropical island also feels very nurturing to me. It’s as though they are aware that the sea is close and they have learnt the ways of the Ocean What’s your Moon Sign?
This month I had a few opportunities to hold women’s circles for occasions. One such occasion was for a break-up and release! She wanted a woman’s circle to express the ending in the most intimate way possible. It makes me so happy to see how more and more people are starting to see the power of women in circles beyond moon circles.
